Product Description

1415 – 1914

The growth of Prussia under the Hohenzollern family forms one of the most important chapters in modern European history. The original home of the Hohenzollerns lay in the former South German duchy of Swabia, but as early as the twelfth century a scion of the family went to Nuremberg and there secured for himself and his descendants the position or burgrave, or “count of the city.”

This map is a great resource for genealogical or historical research.   The 11x 14 inch (or slightly larger) map is printed  on 80 pound archival paper and protected by our  archival quality polypropylene  sleeve.    An insert on the back of the map provides brief information about the map and a brief history of the area represented on the map.

This map is reprinted from an original map which we own.
